As you know this year Apple decided to create the Swift Student Challenge instead of standard scholarship for WWDC 2020.
I’ve decided to apply and I’ve managed to write a simple application to learn Hiragana.
It looks like this:
I encounter many bugs? or errors using SwiftUI and Playground and to make it faster I did everything in one file without splitting it to many.
In the application, you listen to one letter, draw it, and the self-check. I manage to avoid any external assets, sounds are created via AVSpeechSynthesizer and icons from SF Icons.
I’m aware of one limitation which is the speed of drawing, it’s because Path is refreshing every time and it’s not efficient.
